Hello,

Im trying to solve a couple issues with my icons in my folders.

Think I've solved it on my desktop.

But if i create a new folder within say for example, 'documents', the folder won't align to grid automatically.
It'll stay their until i right click, arrange icons etc ...

I want it to do it automatically for me. Once i arrange them, they all align correctly.

Another issue is this...
When i make the finder window wider, or taller - the icons don't move with the window ? They seem to stay static in the middle of the page, an just, looks, odd?

Another issue, similar to this is...
If i delete a folder within 'documents or just finder in general, the icons don't line back to the grid automatically... all the folders just stay situated ? ...
... with a huge gap in the middle of all the folders lol ....

I have added photos to show examples,

Many thanks in advance

Far from here
Hi,

this is because in Finder / View / Show View Options (Cmd + j) you have :

"Arrange by", and "Sort by" set to : "None".

Change at least one to, for example, "Name".

Sorry for extremely LATE reply, but this did work, so thank you
