you guys are sad... listen, you're right, I just noticed that every surface I tried it on had suddenly wrapped in the exact same way. now that I think about it, every single surface in my house has wraped overnight; the only thing that seems to have stayed flat is my phone really, which is why I noticed the wobble.

that makes perfect sense, thanks for helping me figuring it out!

Depends on what you used to wrap it.

Seriously, dude, you came here to report a non-visible bend after doing daily (and I'm betting you may have done it more than once daily) tests on the phone. Taking off the case each time. Who is to say that wrestling the case on and off constantly didn't cause some sort of warp in the glass or whatever?

Just relax.

Lmao @ my phone is bent even though I can't see it.I love this time of year Macrumors is a very entertaining place.

what about I hire a professional crew to shoot this

listen, believe me, don't believe me, I don't care. just add me to the list of people with a bend phone that didn't prove it, I'll be fine with that.

wow...you need a crew for that?

Just trying give you something to help prove your invisible bend story. ;)

So you start a thread. Someone asks to see evidence and you say "No, I don't want to because I'm afraid people will think poorly of me".....

I had not realized we were allowed that amount of creativity when quoting people.
You say: "I am an idiot for not have believing you guys earlier". You know what... that's ok, I forgive you

Just so the naysayers include me in their stats, my 6+ has started to bend after 15 days of use.

The bent is not yet visible to the naked eye, but failed to pass my daily test:
- place it, screen down, on the same surface
- tap it on each of the 4 corners

Until today, the phone was as flat as the table, today it started wobbling significantly when taping two opposite corners.

My 6+ hasn't bent in 12 days of use.

I also have a case on it that is more sturdier than leather.

Lastly, I haven't sat on it.

All right excuse my question but I just have to ask.

Don't all the 6 pluses wobble on the upper right corner and lower left corner (when laying back side down) because of the camera?

Or add you to a list of people with a bent phone that is so bent you can't even see it?

if that pleases you, sure.
as far as I know, the bending issue is not just an aesthetic issue; it also affects user experience as I mentioned (louder vibration for example) and could have impact on other components inside the phone.

I'm adding you to the list of people who WANTS his phone to be bent.

sure, it's going to be a lost of lists to maintain, but that sounds like a good project for you

Yeah, anal retentive people don't think they're anal retentive.

I don't get it, lol-ing your post wasn't enough? by now you should have noticed that nobody really cared about your comment and would not feel the need to repeat it a third time

I'm not fully understanding the battle that is happening on this thread...Everyone knows this is an issue with the 6+. Why are you harassing each other, like you are trying to prove how much you love apple by denying the defect? It's a shame the the phone bends, but there is no point in denying it...

I don't need help proving anything, as I am not trying to prove anything at all.. again, it's just a report for those who care.

Those who feel entitled to proofs, you don't need to go very far, it's all over the internet, my pics or videos would not be any better than that

congrats, you have 3 more days :)

I believe you OP. The same thing happened to me, but I decided I'm just not going to worry about it for now.

I was also doing the 4 corner test because I wanted to determine whether or not the aluminum on the phone was prone to bending from normal, everyday use. I even went to the gym with the phone yesterday and checked it afterwards to make sure it was perfectly straight, and it was.

But earlier today, when the phone was sitting on my desk, I noticed that one of the corners seemed to be hovering slightly. Pressed down on it, and sure enough, the phone wobbled a bit. I took it out of the case - for the first time since I got it - and tested it with the screen facing down. Yep, there was definitely a minor wobble.

I applied the tiniest amount of pressure to see if I could get it back to original form, and it worked. There's no wobble now. But this experience definitely made me believe that these phones are prone to bending. I didn't do anything with the phone yesterday that could have caused this other than sit with the phone in my front pocket.

Aside from this, I still love the phone, and I'm definitely keeping it. The phone is insured with AppleCare+ so if anything too bad happens in the future, I'll be covered.

I excuse your question.

My phone is not that messed up that the camera also protrudes on the screen side. Maybe that will be a feature of the 6+ S

Are you sure the case was bending or was the glass slightly protruding? There are cases of 5 and 5C screens not quite being snapped in place, which would give a similar effect.

That didn't answer my question. There is going to be some wobble because of the camera no?

My apologies - here's the real quote:

if my main goal in life was to prove the naysayers wrong, I would sure use all the tools in my possession to provide documentation, but it really is not... plus we've seen what happens to those who posted pictures, all they get is accusation of wrong doing, I am not interested in that.

I'm not sure how you figured a thread without pictures would produce anything but accusations of wrong doing - which is why you supposedly are deciding to not provide any.

cool, thanks for the dispassionate report. get ready for people to accuse you of all kind of things though, kinda crazy around here :)

That didn't answer my question. There is going to be some wobble because of the camera no?

that did answer your question, yet in a sarcastic way.

as mentioned in my original post, the phone wobbles when placed screen down. the camera sticks out of the back of the phone, so the expected wobble is when laying on it back (and out of case)

I will say this.

If my phone ends up bending, which I doubt it will because I've had it since launch day and have had no issues, I will definitely not post about it here.

My apologies - here's the real quote:

it's my phone, I paid for it cash, it's in my house; even if I beat the crap out of it, I don't think I should be accused of wrong doing.
I never even mentioned of returning or exchanging it.

This was meant to be a casual report of the issue, for the people that do keep track. Again, I don't need or try to persuade anybody.

Now, following your logic, provide me with one (just one !) report of bent phones with pics and videos (there are plenty of those), where the OP wasn't accused of wrong doing.... hint: you won't find any. for you naysayers, bent phones = wrong doing, pics or no pics

hmmm....now your saying the invisible bend will affect the user experience and lead to more possible issues?

That is quite a leap from a phone that is bent but can't be noticed.

If you are really concerned then take it back to Apple. I am sure they can tell you if your phone is bent.

This is getting old.

Why would you anyway? Have you posted every little thing that has happened to your phones in the past?

Most likely if your phone bends, you would have done 'something' to bend it.

it is not an iPhone 5/5s, and treat it the same way and you might or might not get an issue.

Heck, I can't put the iPhone Plus in all the same pockets as i could with the previous versions but that doesn't mean the phone is defective. Just a different design that I knew when I bought it.

Are you saying putting on and taking off a case may cause a phone to bend? I could understand that sitting on a phone could bend a phone but not putting in a case. If putting on a case on can bend an iPhone, then the iPhone 6/6+ are the biggest piece of garbage phones in the world.

It might not be visible now but will become more visible with each passing week. The integrity of the unibody has been compromised and will bend more and more.

True. Well, have a nice day.

I am sure they can tell you if your phone is bent.

I think you misunderstood the purpose of this post; I am not asking anybody to confirm whether it's bent, I know that it's bent.
But since I now see you were trying to help, then thanks! now feel free to leave this thread, I don't need you anymore
