Be happy your not stuck w an iPhone 6 w dead/stuck pixels. I went through the entire stock of iPhone 6 128gb at my local Apple Store. All the refurbs had dead pixels..all of them.

Same and at two Apple stores. I also saw the dark banding on several and had to settle for one with a semi dark thumbprint sized spot on the lcd.

Many people might not see these things but I've never seen such shoddy qc on an iPhone.

I have something similar too on my 6 plus. Barely noticeable unless you use it in landscape mode. Could they all be like this? I'm guessing playing the lottery exchanging iPhone's would be a hassle.

I had the same issue. My first iPhone 6 had a terrible backlight bleeding where the clock is (top middle). I swapped it and the new one had these weird darker blotches on top (the most annoying one was near the battery). at one Apple Store they acknowledged the problem and wanted to replace the phone, but they didn't have mine (gold 64gb t-mobile) in stock so I went to another store where the dumb apple genius first tried to wipe the screen with a cloth and then started to argue with me that she doesn't see anything. Only after I told her that in Chicago they were willing to swap the phone did she agree to replace it... However she said it was the last time they were doing it, because they had to wait and see if it was a factory defect lol. I don't really care because I live in Europe anyway and I won't be back in the US for another couple of months. Anyway, the new iPhone had the same exact spots in the same place, but it seems that they have faded away, so maybe you should just hold on with replacing it and see if it fades away, too.

There is hope! I'm on iPhone 6 #4 (2 for screen / backlight unevenness and/or bleed, 1 for other issue) and it is PERFECT. No spotlighting, no uneven/blotchiness, nothing. Keep the faith.

Apple users are not like Android users. Android users will swear up and down nothing is wrong with their device even if there are glaring faults with it. Apple users nit pick Apple like crazy.

No way would I put up with replacing a product 4 times.

Here's what mine looks like.

Wow! I have that exact dark spot (left side of your phone/top from the photo).

It has that small trapezoid kind of shape to it that fills the iOS status bar when seen on a white background. Do you think this can be exchanged in the apple store? It's hard to see it unless you kinda stare into it but the bottom of the phone is for sure brighter.

That's.... 3 times. But I get your point. I have AC+ so it's easy.... I use mine, they send me a new one and a pre-printed label and box, and I mail it back... Not an issue at all.

i got a different problem but almost same with my old 5s,the top of the screen was dark so i turn off the paralax

Just curious - did that fix the problem and how does turning off the paralax help?

I'm having an issue where my 5s darkens the top part of wallpapers in portrait mode  not sure if it's the same thing. Running 8.0.2.

Edit: here's an example. You can see it in the white on the original and then it goes dark when I make it a wallpaper :S
