Hello,

I used Disk Utility to delete my old Windows partition on my MacBook Pro because I wanted to make a bigger one and couldn't resize it, and it went swimmingly... but when I Option + restart to invoke the startup menu the Windows disk is still showing up. Huh? Disk Utility says all available internal storage (499.42 GB) is being used by OS X Yosemite, but I can even select the Windows disk to boot during startup and it brings up the blue Windows 8.1 repair menu. It's unresponsive, but that means there's still some Windows data on my internal drive that Disk Utility cannot see.

Does anyone with experience dual booting on their Mac know how to fix this, or have any ideas? I'd like to try to solve it at home before scheduling a Genius bar appointment. Gracias!
