Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a Macbook Pro for web designing work where I will be mainly using Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • I currently have a custom-PC build with a 22" monitor but am looking to migrate to OSX for better reliability with both hardware and OS.

  • I am looking for a dual-screen setup so I will likely connect the MBP to the 22" monitor.

  • Would you recommend for portability by buying a Macbook Pro?

  • Is the new Mac Mini a viable cost-saving solution or would you still recommend a MBP?

In regards to budget, I would prefer it stay under £1,999 if possible.

The high end rMBP

The top of the range 15 inch rMBP with dGPU is in your price range that would be your best of all worlds, powerful fast brilliant screen and out put to any monitor up to 4K. You can't go wrong, get a 2013 refurb and save some cash.
