Thanks for posting pics! That looks like the first one I posted with the mix of leather & TPU. Does the TPU hold its shape pretty well or do you think it will sag after a while?

It looks like the TPU is good. I don't see this warping at all. It's a decent fit. Not too tight, not too loose. It's thinner than I expected, and more flexible, but it's basically a TPU case with a faux leather coating? Not sure. BUT, I like it, and for $6.00 it's great.

----------

so after much deliberation, i ordered this one in black.
the leather goes all they way around the sides, bottom coverage, and it appears as though the inside is soft like the Apple version.

also, on all the images, it looks like an embossed Apple logo has been photoshopped out. and on all the interior views, the "iPhone, Designed in California, Made in China" text is also poorly photoshopped out. i wonder if these were prototype designs? we'll see when it arrives in two weeks or so.

I REALLY want this one in black for the 6 Plus. I looked, and can't find it for the Plus. Any chance you have a link for that one?

I took a look through that sellers store and didn't see anything else like it.

I can settle for PU leather but I need full side, bottom and button coverage. Hard to find indeed for 6 plus.

here are some more images, including what looks like Apple packaging.

Mine also says it could arrive as soon as 10/24 but I'm not holding my breath for that soon. I bought a cheap case off amazon in the meantime. Really hope these pay off though.

Mine arrived today. Kinda crappy.

It has a weak Apple logo stamped on the back. Wish it had none.

The "leather" feel is rough and cheap compared to the Apple leather case.

The lip doesn't come as high over the screen. Some may prefer this.

The fit and finish is just meh. I can see through the left edge of the case to the volume switch hole when the case is on the phone.

It's hard to remove. I guess that's because of the surrounded protection design.

The worst part is, it's just too thick all around. It barely clicks into my Everdock with the thin insert. And I can't get my index finger into the silent toggle switch...I have to use a fingernail to activate the switch. And it makes the entire phone considerably thicker.

Didn't expect much for $17, and in that respect I am not disappointed.

No pics. Already spent too much time and money on this case.

I love my apple leather case on my 6+. The bottom being open bothers me just a little bit for sure. A skin for that area would be nice.

Well, after 20 days, mine finally came in. I have to say, I am not nearly as displeased as mcdj. In fact, for the most part I am fine with this case.
The fit is fairly snug, the lip offers some lay on the table protection, but also is low enough to not interfere with slide gestures or edge interaction.
Yes, the volume buttons do push out a tiny bit, but mine is not as bad as in the video above, and I think it will get better with time. The buttons on this case are basically just the case material molded out a bit. The power button extends a tiny bit more than the volume buttons. I think with use, the volume buttons may push out a bit more and that will tighten that side up even more. But that is being extremely picky, imo. It isn't something I notice at all when I look at the phone. All the buttons are super easy to press, btw. The speaker and mic holes line up well. You do need to use your fingernail to move the silent switch, but I don't see that bothering me either.
The inside is a nice microfiber material. I don't think it is too thick. (I returned the Switcheasy Tones because it was too thick.)

After watching the video above, my expectations were pretty low, but I don't really have a problem with this case after trying it out. It does smell like PU Leather, but that should go away after a few days.

I'll update if my thoughts change after using it for a while.

Thanks for the pics. Do you have a link to the eBay page where I can make a purchase? Already got the genuine one, but would be nice to have a cheap one to throw around and use.
