Yea, too bad. I've decided to keep the phone and not exchange it, the slight bending isn't outweighing the loss of the extra features. Hopefully we get an update to the construction - but I'm not holding my breath.
My phone also wobbles into the top left corner. I've also decided not to exchange it because it's otherwise in perfect working order. If this leads to problems down the line, that's what Applecare is for.
I witnessed it. Guy was right next to me at a Genius table. Heard the whole conversation. Was at the Lincoln Park, Chicago store.

If you look at most of these guys with the claims, they are mostly jailbreakers and hackers as far as their post content. Seems fishy somehow...
No? I mean proper skepticism implies we all know people have motive to lie. So first off we look at the facts. What is the motivation behind writing this stuff.
Now when you see a handful of posters being skeptical, the one guy who "teams up" and auto accepts the guys story as true, is also the guy who made the claim that his was bent and now everything he claimed falls under doubt.
I mean bend gate "claims" are still 5-10k view material.
What is their motive to lie? I'm not saying I believe every single thing I read here, I'm not naive, but nor am I unrealistic.
What the guy said was essentially "I'm sorry your phone bent" I'm not sure why that's some sort of shill statement, it's meaningless. Essentially an empty acknowledgement as it were. He's not staking anything on it.

This is an Internet message board, if I required hard proof for everything I saw on the Internet then I wouldn't believe a word of anything. Sometimes you have to partially accept some things yet maintain the realization that it could POSSIBLY be a lie, maybe not probably, but possibly. It's all about balance, just like many things in life.

Yes, allegedly, correct, I know you're quick to jump to a conclusion that suits your bias. This guy has still not even posted as much as a pic in an arena filled with trolls with various potential motivations.
