Hi,

I currently am unable to watch SKY GO (UK content provider media app) on my tv via ATV (from I-pad) as Sky Go does not support HDMI out with the Apple TV due to Licensing Agreements with the content providers.

I am looking to buy a Mac mini as a central hub for my files as well as within my home theatre set up. If I access SKY Go on the Mac mini on the browser (or poss an app), and my Mac mini is connected to my TV via HDMI....would I still have the same issue....or would this work?

( note posted on Mac mini forum as well)

Your TV screen would just be a monitor for you computer, so it would work fine. It would work the same as your laptop screen.

Thank you - just what I wanted to hear.

Has anyone tried this with Sky Go....just to confirm?
