iPod Calling all iPod collectors...

Its a case that came with the royal thai nano. The emblem is the kings emblem.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Thai Kings succession to the throne, certain organization, namely IT CITY and Apple Thailand have created 9999 (Thai lucky number) exclusive Nanos.
Each Nano comes in a special box which contains a case, a letter of authenticity, and the iPod. The King himself has nothing to do with these iPods.

Friend, you have to understand that are rarities, have other sellers offering ipods with astronomical prices, nobody is forced to buy!

Its nothing special at all. They have been modified by a third party company for Coca-Cola and Pepsi to be used in promotional campaigns.
I have a 1st-gen iPod whose 10GB hard drive gave up the ghost a few years ago. I recently bought a 5GB drive for $5 and put that inside. So the iPod is working again, and the battery surprisingly holds a charge for a few hours.
I didn't really need to fix it, and I doubt I'll use it much. But I didn't like the fact that it was sitting in my closet "dead." I only wish I could have found a reasonably priced 10GB drive so I wouldn't have had to go with the 5GB drive.

My thought is this. Considering there is only one known example of the Madonna iPod in the world, I'm not so sure I agree with you...used or not!

I'm not a hard-core collector, but I keep kicking myself that I lost track of *one*, tiny piece that makes my 3rd-Gen iPod incomplete--the little white dock connector port cover. If anybody has one that they're willing to sell, please contact me!
