Did you ever download it from the Mac App Store? If you did, it should be in your purchase history and you can re-download it.

Asking for a copy from a "friend" is essentially breaking the terms of service and piracy since ML was a paid upgrade. So if you're going that route anyway, there are plenty of "friends" online that you can get it from.
