Well I purchased a new iPhone 6 from the Apple online store of the UAE. Unfortunately this past week, I dropped it for the first time, and what do you know, the screen managed to crack. I searched online and found that Apple does repair screens for a 109$ fees which I am ready to pay. Unfortunately, Apple only has authorised service providers in the UAE and all of them seem to tell me only one thing- they do not replace parts and only replace the entire device for which I have to pay more than half the cost of the device. This really just seems tragic. If I were staying in the US, I could have got a screen replacement done, but unfortunately because I am not, I do not have any options but to replace the entire device? This seems rather unfair.
