iPhone 5 is full / over capacity. Just backed it up to my new MacPro for the first time.
I'm running ios 7.1.2 on the phone (no storage space to update), have not upgraded to Yosemite yet on MacPro, which is running iTunes 11.3.1.
My question is this; last time I did this, with older versions of ios and iTunes, I seem to recall an opportunity to manage my content on the phone, from iTunes.
For instance, when the phone showed up in the iTunes left hand menu, I could click on that icon and select which playlists I wanted to include, if I wanted to synch photos & videos to mac and then delete from phone, etc.
Then I'd re-synch, which would make all the changes I'd just specified.
Now I cannot find the management tools within iTunes. Can you direct me?
Thanks!
