AT&T's "Boston" market is almost the entire Northeastern side of the state, so you should be seeing these upgrades in North Reading within the next few months

Wow. I am thinking of getting this cel spot but I have to buy one at full price since I do not have a contract with t-mo. I am month to month. What were your speeds before it?

My speeds were about 65Mbs with a airport express

This depends on your Internet of course. 65Mbps is the limit of 2.4GHz 802.11n for mobile devices, if you have a faster Internet plan upgrading to any 802.11ac router will improve performance.

While I waited for lunch I checked out the red numbers for my app updates.

There was an update, 35.5 mb.

I was on LTE and I figured what the heck and hit the Update button.

Less than 3 eye blinks later it was downloaded ... and installed.

Naturally I became curious at this speed, confirmed I was on LTE (ATT in Ft Lauderdale, FL), and ran an ookla speed test.

Here's what resulted:

yes the T-mobile AC router brought my speeds up to 250Mbs on my 6+ and 300Mbs on my iPad air2.

I was actually expecting it to be a little faster. 20 mhz in a small town.

How can I increase these speeds (other than get rid of sprint)?

ETA: I'm in Dallas texas
