What's up guys.
Can't seem to find the solution, link or direct info
on copying one folder from a USB drive to another
usb drive directly in Maverick 10.9

Tried the holding command or option button to no avail.
Any help or insight would make my day.

Are you sure, your destination drive is writable, not read-only?
Look out for this icon:

Most common reason - attempt to write to a Windows-format (NTFS) drive.

Lion and later, including Mavericks, does not have that icon.

Not really a solution but, I think if you want to ensure a copy as opposed to a move. Put it in a temp folder on your internal drive and then copy it to the other thumb drive.

Yes a pain to be sure, but it is a work around to your issue.

thx for the headsup Maflynn
I will try that when I get home.
But, may have a better solution right now on using my pc for this temp
workaround. A long term solution would be ideal.
Yosemite fixes this issue?
If that's the case may just have to take the plunge as this is
almost a deal killer for me in keeping a mac.
