Hi All,
I'm using Yosemite 10.10.1 on my MacBook Pro (Early 2011) 2.7 GHz i7, 16GB RAM, 256 SSD etc.
Last week I had two cases where my MBP all of a sudden crashed and then would not boot correctly and get suck/freeze on the load screen during boot. Load bar gets to about 50% and no more.
I thought this was isolated to my MBP.
I have a work around for the issue which is to Boot into safe mode (hold shift when powering on the machine), once it has booted to the login screen, restart the device and it will boot correctly.
This has happened twice in the last week, and more recently has happened twice to my CEO today. He has a MBA11" latest model i7 with 8Gb Ram, running yosemite 10.10.1.
IS anyone else experiencing this issue? I would like to find a permanent resolution for this ...
