I would like to back up all of my photos (and have a copy stored elsewhere in case of fire/theft etc)

would I be able to get DVD burner to burn thousands of pics to DVD?

easier/cheaper to just get external hard drive and back up, then store in another location

am I better off using iCloud (not sure if there are limitations on size) and/or the safety of this

and/or other suggestions/thoughts?

Thanks!!

Yes. A bit slow though and depending on the number of photos you may need more than one dvd.

Yes. Much easier.

Better? Couldn't say. First 5Gig is free then you pay. Monthly charges for the US are: 20 GB: $0.99, 200 GB: $3.99, 500 GB: $9.99, 1 TB: $19.99.

I'd choose the external drive method.
