I think it was called the ipad2. It stil works fine for what I use it for. Surfing the web and email. I am on 7.1.2 software.

I wanted to know if anyone installed the newest software on this type of device amd is happy with performance. Mine is the 64 gig unit.

I would rather stay here than bog the unit down with software the hardware cannot handle.

Don't upgrade.

Pleeeeenty of threads on the subject, if you use the search function. Heck, there's even threads on the first page of the forum.
