Trackpad froze

Do you have problems only with the gestures?
If your trackpad doesn't work,plug in some USB mouse and backup all your data...after that install fresh Mavericks/Yosemite and check if it works...If it doesn't work contact Apple service or some other certified Apple service to repair your trackpad...It's really difficult to guess what is the problem in your case,but if you have problems with the gestures only it might be problem with Yosemite...
