Should I buy a 12 inch iBook G4 for 19.99? It has a non-functioning screen, so If i do, I would replace the screen. Does anyone think this a good buy and also how hard is it to get a new display for it for a cheap price?

I'd say, you'd be better off finding a working iBook instead of putting money into a non-functioning one at this point.

If you have a sentimental reason, sure. But working ones are practically free these days, so find a working one as opposed to this one.

ok thanks! I thought it was a good price... I found a 25 dollar gift card under my desk and I always thought it would be cool to have an iBook, and this was the best I could find for 25 or less. (If someone could find one, that would be perfect!)

If I recall correctly, screen replacement on iBooks is a rather involved process (as with replacement of pretty much anything on them).

Yeah... I was looking at it on ifixit, doesn't look fun.

Thanks everyone for talking me out of buying it, I think that is the right call for this offer.
