want gives?

i spoke to an iPhone specialist and he told me point blank that wifi passwords are not saved or cannot be restored on iCloud keychain.

then why is apple's page wrong??

http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT5813

i did a reset network settings, and i tried logging out and on of iCloud keychain and my wifi passwords are all gone

i should of backed up my iPhone but i thought wifi passwords were safe, i know they were back in iOS 7, i actually recall getting them back once before iOS 8 came out. i haven't backed up my iPhone for 4 days
and i was on the phone with apple and i knew i should of put them on hold and did a back up oh well

is this a new change???

or wifi passwords are only restored on macs?? and not iOS devices???

i think what iCloud keychain for wifi passwords does is it only pushes the passwords to your existing devices
but it does not backup or restrore them , like web passwords.
