It was under my user name folder / then applications / then witcher folder, then data/bin/config...
I know it's an oldish post, but I thought it would be useful to point out that the user.ini file that gets used on my installation is not that one. That is never used.
The path is 'Users/name/Library/Application Support/com.vpltd.TheWitcher2/GameDocuments/Witcher 2/config/User.ini'

What resolution were you using the time of the recording ? I tried to record the same game using quicktime but a full screen recording is too much for the hd to catch up, rendering the game unplayable. Other recording solutions didn't help much, either. Or maybe you are using an SSD so you can manage with the huge I/O ?

the game was installed on my hdd I guess, but i'm not sure.
