I have the opportunity to get an iPad mini, the first generation, but I have no experience of Apple's mobile products directly, so I turn to you!
How is the performance if I want to run GarageBand on the tablet? I will record two tracks simultaneously via an external sound card (acoustic guitar and vocals, two microphones simultaneously), as well as some additional tracks for drums and keyboards, most will have someone kind of effect applied, say a maximum of 8-10 tracks in total. Will it work well or should I look at the second generation?
