Bad news!
My new iMac arrived 2 weeks ago and last week it started crashing whenever Time Machine ran. 2 calls to Apple support seemed to have fixed it but to my horror, this morning it has crashed again and no longer recognises the startup disk. I think a faulty SSD has been the problem all along.
Luckily it's all backed up and actually booted up in Carbon Copy Cloner backup this morning.
It's 2 weeks today since I received it and I am going to press them for a new machine. I hope that they will do this under the two week return policy. The annoying thing is that I expect I will have to go down to the bottom of the delivery list again and Christmas will complicate things
I know this is a little off topic but thought it was relevant.
