Picked up a recapped SE/30 off ebay this week. Specs are 32mb ram and 500mb HD. Also acquired an Asante localtalk to ethernet adaptor and will install Windows 2000 server on an old thinkpad to transfer files and print. Will be keeping an eye out for a PDS ethernet card.

My parents bought me a IIgs in 1988 but I always wanted one of these. I plan on putting it in a corner of our office and have it available for typing lists.

Great little "simple machines", while still being powerful enough for a wide range of duties.

I had one in a cubby in my dining room from '99-2001 that I used in the mornings for email/newsreading duties.

I've never owned a working SE/30. Definitely something I'd like to get one of these days.

Ditto. Thats one little system that has managed to evade me. Unfortunately, I just don't come across them cheap enough to drop the cash. Readily available, but not at the right price.

My SE/30 started life as an SE, I found a cheap /30 logic board on eBay, I can't remember where I got the Lapis video card.
