Air 2 any more problems than the original Air?

Not really. It has some things about that are bothersome to some people like the vibrations due to the extra thin chassis or the screen distortion issue. Neither one bother everyone though so it's up to you.
From a reliability standpoint, I'm sure the Air 2 is made well and should last a while. Not much else to say on it.
