can someone please tell me if they fix the overall ui lag issue?

my mac will get laggy if i run it a few days without restart. A restart or simply log out and log back in improves the ui animation. And then repeat.

I'm running rmbp 13 2014, 16g, 256 ssd

My imac is ok now but not sure what fixed it. I spent two weeks trying various fixes posted in forums, like turning off transparency, running Onyx, etc.

Back when I updated to Mavericks, I couldn't get Wi-Fi to work. Updated my MacBook from Mountain Lion where Wi-Fi worked fine. Thought the update messed up my Wi-Fi card but when I bought a new Mac Mini and it didn't work either, I spent hours on phone and chat support trying to figure out solutions with senior advisors and specialists. I had to eventually purchase a new router and that seemed to fix the issue. This probably isn't the wide spread cause but this was my problem.
