Bad phots from iPad air

I just bought the IPad Air 2 and my photos and videos are very grainy. I though the camera was supposed to be a lot better on the air 2, is there a setting I need to adjust or am I doing something wrong? I know more light helps but even with more they still would come out blurry of fuzzy. And the blur happens at slightest movement.
