I have a Mac Pro with several internal hard drives. I want to force the Finder to sort any folder by name so when I open any folder its automatically sorted by name.

I have read reference pages like this, but nothing I've read so far works.

http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13896

The option to apply the view options as a default only works on the folder currently being viewed. It is never applied to subfolders.

How can I force the Finder to sort every folder I open by name by default?
