I have done some reading and looking around this forum and I need some input form you guys and gals…

Here is what I have…

Mac Pro 1,1
2.66 GHz
OS X version 10.7.5 Lion
Memory: 16 GB

What I want to do with it…

I would like to hook 4 monitors to it...

Upgrades I was thinking:

- Solid State Drive:
Two - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)

- Memory upgrade from 16GB to 24 or 32 GB

- Graphics Cards
From what I understand I can use two graphics cards so I can hook up 4 monitors but I am not sure what cards to get.

What do you think???

SSD:
I put a small SSD in mine and it feels BLAZING fast.

Memory:
I have 6GB in mine and it feels fairly nice, I am looking into more though.

Graphics:
I've run three cards at a time. The top and bottom slots are the fastest, the bottom being the fastest out of the two. A used Mac-flashed 5770 wouldn't be bad. I'm running a 6790 without the boot screen on mine, but that involved some kext hacks that aren't recommended.

I'd buy a 5770 and some other secondary card and use the last two slots for a USB 3.0 card and a SATA III card.
