Hi Guys,
My Mac,
iMac 27"_3.4 i7_32GB Ram_750GB SSD
Yesterday and today, Ive had the screen freeze, can move the mouse around but can't open anything?
The only way I have been able to get out of it is to hold the on/off button to switch it down and start up again
This morning, it happened again, forced it off again by holding down the on/off button, this time that didn't work either
A quick google on the phone and found that if I hold shift down when switching on, the Mac does some fault checking?
it did restart OK without a freeze
I'm as old as Julius Sumner Miller but unfortunately not as smart!
Any ideas what the problem is? Should I take the iMac in for service?
..........Gary
