In case you didn't notice WhatsBeta has been updated to version number 2.11.16 and it brings a lot of improvments.
First of all there's finally support in the new Sharing Menu - we can now send photos through the gallery and in other apps.
And now there's a double blue dot so we can know if the person we speak with saw the images we send to him.
