I know warping and bending is a real possibility with how thin they are and how many other iphones and ipod touches have warped that are of this thinner stuff.

Anyone know which of the best-reviewed cases (so far) for the iphone 6 Plus might do best at preventing warping, e.g. from phone being kept in rear pocket? Not literally sat on but warped due to I guess being pressed against butt shapes? ;)

Here are links to some that seem decent:

I dont think a plastic case is going to prevent an aluminum phone from warping.

Well I thought if it was the right kind of plastic (whatever that means), it might make some sort of a difference. I imagine the metal cases will bend more than the more rigid plastic ones will (?).

That's funny - I ordered that one too - but mainly cause I needed something fast. I knew I'd need more time to find a harder case. Now I'm in even more of a hurry to do so (after reading the thread about the new phones warping)!

I talked to a woman at this company and asked about their toughest/hardest shells and here's what she wrote back (and there may be even more options for the iPhone 6. I think they are also at great risk of warping too based on all I've seen):

"Thanks for your phone call today. Per our conversation, some of our great options for the iPhone 6 Plus are the STOWAWAY [ADVANCE] Case, the KICKSNAP Case, or the DualPro/DualPro SHINE Case. You can view them on our website: http://www.incipio.com/cases/iphone-cases/iphone-6-plus-cases.html "

I got this too.

It's a thick flexible plastic. It will certainly prevent scratches and assist with drop protecting.

It will not prevent the phone from bending.

I will have to find another case.

I cancelled the order, just read the reviews, all of them say it fits loosely.

I think I'll wait till better cases are out, my phones will be delivered between 21-28 October, no need to rush

Here's another one they recommended, called the DualPro:

Neither of the apple cases for the 6 + are hard enough to help with the warping (assuming anything can) IMO.

It's a pity it's so hard to find rigid cases that aren't so clunky looking but at this point I'm trying to find the most attractive I can find in that category.

I'm using the Apple silicone one right now, but I'll probably upgrade to an Incase Slider as soon as they become available, because they're more rigid.

This one's for the iPhone 6 (Pelican brand which is great brand and no doubt makes a very good case) and I know they have a 6 + version but the 6 + version is only offered in black or dark gray I think SO FAR. I'm sure more colors will roll out soon:

FYI the pelican case I got was the Voyager model, not the regular. Regular has 2 color choices and Voyager has 4 choices.

I got the Best buy version for $39.99 and doesn't come with the holster or screen protector. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ballist...skuId=8697036&st=iPhone 6 plus case&cp=1&lp=2

It's big in my pocket and the rounded edges make it look kinda big bit other then the edges it doesn't add much to the width. Provides good lip protection to the front and it feels like it could be dropped from a second story building if it landed on its back.

No issues with ports but it does add heft to the phone.

It's tough and coming from a loyal Otterbox customer (4s, 5, 5s) other than the protection otterbox offers on the front I'd say this is more durable everywhere else then previous otterbox models.

My 6 plus is warped and I have had it in a Spigen slim armor case which isn't exactly flimsy. Bought phone release day and had a cellairis case for the first month and the Spigen beginning on November. Not sure how it ended up warped like twisted but I can't say the Spigen is 100% safe lol. Just thought I'd share. Phone is not bent but is definitely tweaked a little.

I have the Speck Candyshell Grip. It's a very stiff, hard plastic case with rubber inside. It is great.
