Hello folks,

recently I've noticed that my MBP has some graphic artifacts like in photos, does any body knows what it could is? MBP is from 2010 its 13.3" i5.

Could be your motherboard. I would take it into apple or give them a call and request a quote.

If it's a 13" from a recent year, then it will have integrated graphics, meaning that if it was that causing the problem it would be CPU related and you would be experiencing a lot more issues than just graphics-related ones.

Personally, given the above, my money is on the display cable or the display.

I think it could be a software glitch. The password input field and other stuff on the pixelated left hand side are totally normal. It's just the background/wallpaper that has a glitch.

If it were the graphics card, those would also have been affected.

So I would do a clean install of OS X to see if that would help.
