All iPads ipad mini sim swap with Ipad air 2 ??

Will there be any issues if I use my sim from my ipad mini in the Air 2 on ATT? only asking bc not sure if the new apple sim complicates things and that whole att lock that they enforced on the sim.

only want to do this since I have att mobile share

You can move the SIM without issue.

Thank you for the reply! What if I didn't activate the card on an ipad first, i.e. I just bought a Nano sim card and tried to activate it on the iPhone? Would that work? Thank you for all replies.
