Hi Everyone,

Just recently my Mac Mini 2012 has been crashing with the below Panic attack on a regular basis. Maybe once every 2-3 days.

Any suggestions or thoughts? I'm kind of stumped as what to do.

Thank you,

Dono

Did the machine come with 16GB, or did you install that yourself?

Did you buy it new, as a certified refurb direct from Apple, or elsewhere?

Try removing any non-essential devices connected via USB. It seems that maybe one of them is triggering the crash. Is the "Porsche Desktop" an external Lacie drive or something similar? Is it plugged directly into the Mini, or via a second hub?

Try re-installing the 10.10.2 Combo Update.

Man, you know your stuff.

I purchased it brand new from apple with 16gb an a 256 SSD. Yes I also have a LaCie Porsche external drive attached. It's attached directly into one of the USB ports on the back.

I was planning on reinstalling OS X but I've just started the semester at Uni so the timing isn't so great at the moment.

I'll run it without the external drive for a while and see how it goes.

Thank you again for taking the time to reply.

I'm already running 10.10.2 via the App Store Updates tab. Unfortunately it didn't seem to help.

So you downloaded and applied the combo update already? My point is that the App Store updates sometimes get screwed up, and downloading the standalone combo installer will replace possibly damaged files and fix things.

Ah, didn't realise that. I'll give it a go. Thanks again.
