Apple maps, bookmarks..

Apple maps is decent enough, even for driving now. Love the way you can lock screen and then just pops up when needed, e.g. When on a long motorway.

Few questions...

Is there anyway without having to make a new contact, to make bookmarks. e.g. I want to bookmark as hotel that we're doing at, I'm only be using out once, then don't want it as a permanent contact though, anyway too?

How much data does it use? I don't have a unlimited allowance, how much data did it need? For an hour journey? Or how does it measure what you need?

Anyway to add multiple stops on 1 route, e.g. a stopover before going on to final destination?

Been messing and eventually found a way to remember, and rename places you want to keep, it's called favourites. Tap share and then you see the star and favourites...
