I have an Apple Xserve Xeon Dual core 12TB thats been expanded using a Promise VTRack E610f (32 TB Raid) connected to the server via fibre channel. I've been looking to upgrade. I came across this NA381TB Thunderbolt PCIe expansion/storage enclosure and was thinking about using this and using a Mac Mini as the server. I wanted to know if I can use the internal expansion slots of the NA381TB to install a fibre channel card to connect the Promise RAID and also add a 10GB ethernet card to connect to a new 10GB network switch. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience?
