Fun with SMS

Today I needed to send a text message but thought I'd have a little fun with it. My friend had told me that she was going to take a nap, so I wanted to find out if she wanted to walk with me to a local store when she woke up. I thought of an interesting way to send the text message. She thought it was cute.

To Safeway I did go, I made the trip alone
My friend was called to work, their patience never shown
Coffee and treats in hand, iTunes on the screen
I chose a recent movie, one I'd never seen
As the movie ended, my friend knocked at my door
We sat down to cookies, another movie in store.
