Hi all,
I happen to have a spare macbook pro mid 2010 and a macbook black 2006 both fitted with SSD drives. I had the idea to connect the black macbook to my TV permanently (with converter to HDMI) and basically turn the tv into a computer.
Secondly for my macbook pro I was thinking of turning it into a media server of sorts. I want to be able to connect to it with all my OSX and IOS devices that are on the network. (it would also be great if could access the server remotely but not sure if this is possible).
Am I overthinking this, or does somebody have an idea how I can achieve this
Thanks for all input
