Hi,

Done a bit of a swap around with the computers in the household -- previously I was using a 2013 27" iMac, and on my desk I was getting very strong signal (115Mbps down -- in speedtest, and in real world)

I've now got a 2008 Mac Pro3,1 sitting under my desk, and well the signal quality is poor according to WiFi Explorer. I'm getting at best 33Mbps down.

What options are there for improving WiFi performance? Could I pick up a WiFi PCI-E card (with the little antenna out the back of it)? (For use in both OS X and Windows 7.)

Or is my only option really to move the Mac Pro up on to the desk?

Appreciate any input!
