iCloud Photo library monthly (backup) project in Aperture

Hi,

I have not done activated iCloud Photo Library yet since I am not sure about the following:

With PhotoStream Aperture was producing a monthly backup project for the pictures I took with my iOS devices. I am pretty sure that this will not work with iCloud Photo Library any longer. Has anyone experience with this?

If this is the case does someone have a solution that is not manual (i.e. importing all pictures after month to Aperture).

The reason for this method is that I would like to export my monthly iCloud Photo library extractions as an aperture library to my NAS as a backup.
