Carrier Verizon carrier update with iOS 8.3

My 5s got 19.0. I haven't noticed any changes. LTE was OK before and after update.

My 5s is now on 19, from 18.1, on 8.2.

Did a pop up ask you if you wanted to update carrier settings, or did it change automatically to 19.1?

My T-Mobile carrier update is on 19.1 with the latest 8.3 update.

Just checked my 6 on 8.3 and it has version 19

Looks like iOS 8.3 simply came with carrier version 19.0 for Verizon.

iP6 and iPad Air 2 on VZW and 8.3
iP6 - 19.0
iPadA2 - 19.1
That is all

My iPhone 6 on 8.3 is on Verizon 19.0, but not sure what I was on previously.

My Verizon iPad actually got 19.1 with 8.3 release. My Verizon iPhone 5 has had 19 well before 8.3 came out, but I'm surprised there is a 19.1 for iPad but not for the phone yet.

As the network changes the software will too and varying hardware will use varying versions. You'll find regional updates even on the same network too after we have a new version iOS for a while.

I've never been able to find what the updates include.

Exactly, so why do people care what carrier update they're on? I guess people have nothing else better to do.

It's too bad that usually it's pretty much impossible to know what changed in these updates.
