Redesigning my site logo.

I hope, you know, that your line is "broken"/isn't straight?

You have to move the black text, it appears to be higher up than the white text ´cause it´s on white.

The circle doesn't do anything for me. It's an odd combination because the sides are so tight to the type while the top and bottom so far away.

Personally, I'd just find a nice typographical treatment and leave the circle off.

Might want to kern it a bit, esp the L and I. The serif needs to be balanced out with the negative space.

My 2 cents

I think you need to start again. The logo is not conveying anything other than design for it's own sake. It seems strange to go from a completely abstract design to a little umbrella pictograph, it shows some muddled thinking.

Maybe try to stylise the umbrella and incorporate that if you want that image. I wouldn't bother with subtle type manipulation just yet, it's like putting lipstick on a pig, at least get the pig a decent outfit first.

The little coloured umbrella makes it look like an insurance logo.

Those black and red ones look like The Wall

I like that much better.

You might have to play with the scale of the umbrella a bit. It might get too small if your logo is reduced a bit.

But that is definitely an improvement.
