Missing e-mails

Hey,

I am using Mail app Version 8.2 (2098). The problem is that my mails which are more than two weeks old go missing. This happens only in Inbox. Sent mail are all there. Could not find anything in settings to resolve it.
Anyone knows how to change/fix it?

Mail is not designed to keep a large amount of email in the Inbox forever. iCloud is an IMAP service for syncing between devices. So you need to practice saving for important email into saved folders and trying to keep your Inbox to zero. This will cure a lot of problems.
