What can you, and what can´t you use from the itunes store if you have an MP3 player of a brand different to Apple?

Can one hear & see, for example: music, podcasts, videos, etc. what is and what is not restricted to a MP3 player different to apple?

You can 't use itunes to sync. Music that you purchase must be burned to a cd and then reencoded before downloading to another player.

Don't know about podcasts or video
