Volume up button is not working.

The problem is — i dropped my phone 6 months ago and I'm wondering — will Apple want to repair or replace my phone when they see the physical damage?

Button problem is in no way linked to the damage from the drop. It worked fine for months.

The crack itself is not a big deal for me, I'm used to it, and it's not on the screen.

And yes, device is still covered by warranty.

That's going to be a hard sell to the person at the Genius Bar. Hope it works out in your favor.

Yep, it's gonna be difficult :)

Oh, and I forgot — I've got a video to prove when I dropped it. I was shooting slow-mo at that very moment when it fell. It's in my camera roll.

I move a lot. Sorry.
I'd rather have that crack than the dead, completely dead iPhone 5c under 3 months that my daughter accidentally bathed in Apple juice. My son wants to open it up to see its guts.
