This radio station is broadcasting a concert, and I would like to record it (to wav or mp3 or something) via their web stream. What's a good (free) software to use for recording the audio that's coming in through your web browser?

Apart from getting wiretap / audio hijack, is there another way of getting similiar functionality under OS X?

If you just want to transfer sound out of one app to another part of osx because of missing export features then you can try JackOSX

Pretty neat little app you can tell osx what you want to be an in and send all audio to that or bounce audio to and fro other apps. Hope that helps.

Thanks,

I'll give it a go. I'm trying to record a short realaudio stream to mp3.

EDIT: I've installed jackaudio and tried to use with audacity -- no luck (audacity became extremely sluggish and unresponsive). Could be a configuration issue.
