Any reviews of Gigabit Airport Extreme

For anyone who has the new airport extreme, could you please post your experience with hardwire transfer rates? Are you seeing true gigbit speeds? Also, does this router accomidate jumbo frames? I've seen the question asked before but have yet to see any answer.

Thanks

Umm... I just got it last night and love it already, but as far as I know the lan ports are only 100mbps and Wireless-N performs the best in N-only 5GHz mode. You will not see speeds approaching 300mbps in G+N mode.

Was one of the silent updates they did during the summer keynote when the new iMac's were released.

They also updated the Mac Mini to Core 2 Duo.

Ahh the sneaky little......

I guess I'll return this one to BestBuy and order it online. I'd really like gigE and it was the only thing I didn't like about the AEBS.

Anyway, sorry for the hijack.

Hi, I've found this thread on Apple Support Discussions.

I rang Apple and they confirmed that yes it does support jumbo frames. But when I asked if it supported jumbo frames over wireless N, and they said yes... I wasn't sure if I could take their word for it. Does anyone know if jumbo frames are possible over wireless N?

Also... could someone please post some transfer times, comparing jumbo frames turned off with on?

Thanks
