iPod Does anyone know how to physically bypass the ipod nano hold switch?

My friend gave me his iPod to fix, it's stuck on hold. I tried everything possible software wise, all I can come up with is a bad switch.

I'm pretty tech-savvy, and I am guessing I can just solder on a small piece of wire between the two contact points on the top of the hold switch. Has anyone else done this?

This thing is suprisingly simple inside.
