Ridiculously simply question about Logic Pro Studio 8

I just bought it and can't wait to sink my teeth into it, but after having instlled the whole package none of the programs/apps have appeared on the dock. do you have to do it all manually? because im not entirely sure what was even included. can i somehow just add everything onto the dock? please help a semi-retarded individual.

Applications don't appear in the dock by default. They will be in your applications folder, - Logic Pro, Mainstage and Soundtrack Pro. Once running you can click on the icon in the dock and choose Keep In Dock to make sure they remain permanently in the dock.
